Re:birth is similar to this project but it is more general and supports many sound chips (AY-3-8910, SN76489, SCC(+) and many FM.

This is the module "RE-1-89XX" (AY-3-8910/AY-3-8912/AY-3-8913/YM2149F/YMZ294-D chip).

Maybe it goes on sale in the coming months.

Lol, only now I recognize: Reddus Mannus - redman.. Wink
For some awesome PSG treatment, be sure to check out the Syntax Infinity demo.. (Well worth an upload to YT then I reckon!) - but perhaps you already have.. ;)
(And perhaps some other peeps may have some cool suggestions?)

Btw (but perhaps you realize that); you're demoing the Konami's @50hz, but (depending on your standpoint on the matter :)) for the 'intended' playback, they should run @60hz/NTSC :)

Well, a little bit of mess suits the 'geek' right? ;)

Looking forward to the improvements!

The hardware has some limitations so i'm not posing anything on youtube untill the hardware is redesigned (parts already ordered LOL! )

The carts were released for the european market in english so i think they should run @50Hz. It is exactly like it ran on my msx 25 years ago.

Yes, that's true, that's what I meant with 'your standpoint' Wink
AFAIK they are (except for some localization in some of 'em) the same carts EU or JP, and having no logic or adaptation in them for PAL vs NTSC. (Perhaps they don't really cared about that issue? / Too much trouble to 'fix' it?)

I remember them that way also, but have started to get used playing them, and hearing to tunes @60hz Smile (And I like the speed-up in gameplay it provides.. Wink)
