Bootscreen shows MSX BASIC version 5.0
That is weird.
Really? I read 3.0 there. Take a look on forum's original image in the link above, the picture can be made bigger (and the text will be more readable)
Hmmm... the more I look, more I believe mohai is correct and it's version 5.0

What?
nikikcekecskdfksdfds without M and S he ment.
I guess he meant NYYRIKKI.
Indeed, I think he means this one... I don't think it is good idea to mess up with the version numbers... For the logo there was a "proper" reason... I didn't have space for the original MSX2+ logo due to RS-232, disk drive etc. so I just made a smaller version in order to have "drop in" replacement ROMs for the already MSX2 upgraded machine.
The slot flap comes from the MSX1 DPC-200.

Did you know that Talent had a lot of those Talent slot flaps?
The meeting's flyer was very clear that they would show a MSX that wasn't on catalogs. That MSX is this one in the picture. They didn't say they would show a MSX in a custom case.
I don't know why a company that made network adapters, digitizers, the TPC-310, 80-columns adapters, etc; couldn't have a prototype of other MSXs computers.
I prefer to wait the Argentinian MSX fans talk a bit more about that machine. The meeting was last saturday, probably we'll know more soon.
All MSX released by Talent have been made by Daewoo. The TPC-310 is a TPC-200 with a MSX2 board made by Daewoo. I think Talent ordered a MSX2 the cheapest as possible. Talent has made no MSX.
About this so-called prototype I think strange that have a Basic v5.0 and TPC-200 parts again, and there is no trace from Korea.
Will require more elements to convince me.

I just give an opinion. I wait too.

It's wrong. Talent has refused to release in Argentina the MSX2 DPC-300 manufactured by Daewoo, because they were preparing the release of the TPC-310 entirely made in Argentina (Talent had bought directly all the rights from Microsoft, surprising completely the Koreans).
That's why you have 2 series of Talent products:
- those with a code beginning with D
- those with a code beginning with T
On the technical side, the TPC-310 does not have a Daewoo DW64MX1 MSX-Engine, but a Yamaha S1985, a MSX-Engine that has never been used by Daewoo.
Besides, for the board, there are 2 DPC-200 versions, one with the original Daewoo board, one with the Talent board created for the TPC-310. So, it's the contrary of what you say!
