Still waiting on the sd 512. But so far the thing is running like a champ. I just need to find a good program to load cassette images. I can't seem to find a download for the one you suggested. But cart games run great.
Thank you very much for the links! I'm still really noobie. Never used MSX before I got this machine. Not even in emulation. But I have been wanting one for years. So much to learn.
BTW, they just shipped my 512 sd cart today. Should be a week or two before I get it. I really can't wait.
I can imagine . Those SD-512, MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD 512 and similar carts really turn an MSX1 into almost an MSX2 in terms of usability (absent video features of course).
Congratulation! To avoid big problems, I advise you to fix the voltage converter board with something other than ordinary tape. Use a hot glue gun or Kapton tape for example. The heat and the products used to make a PCB make the tape not resistant to time.
