Looks to me like someone just got creative and spent some effort to make a nice disk label for the copy of MSX-DOS they provide with their disk interface Smile. I’m sure the disk is formatted DD. I can’t really find any references to Windows? Doesn’t seem like a bad deal for an FDD interface with all necessary accessories included.

The diskette shutter mentions windows, I agree it is reasonable value, but 3.5" disks are hard to find here in the UK, no problem getting used ones though.

Yes, actual floppy labels continue over the edge and cover a bit of the other side as well.

Better to avoid 2HD floppy disks because MSX drives do not always support them. $100 + shipping for an FDD interface not too expensive if the quality is good. Ask if the contacts are golden or not for example. Ask also if the kernel is in portuguese or english.

Other things:
This ad says that it is fully compatible with all MSX models with at least 16K bytes of RAM. However, i think it's 32kB RAM minimum.
Shipping cost is expensive. It is probably best to buy the drive separately. An interface alone costs less than $50.

Can't a DISK-BIOS be changed to support it? That would be so nice. There are other z80 systems that support it?
