S.O.L.O - MSX Cartridge

The sci-fi adventure game S.O.L.O. is now available as MSX cartridge at the Côté Gamers shop. The game comes fully boxed with 15 free postcards with cult MSX games. A nice touch for such a great game.

Ranking 2nd in the MSXdev21 game list, Roolandoo's platformer S.O.L.O. gets its deserved physical format happening. The game is a true piece of craftsmanship with a high level of game play, not the easiest one either. This space adventure is leading droids through planet Tartessos. While the MSXdev version is available in both English and Spanish, the physical release only has English in-game text due to memory limitations; the supplied manual has instructions in English, Spanish and French though.

The droids termed as S.O.L.O. (slot one, level one) are effected by the mining of a valuable substance called Ether, which causes their circuitry and positron minds to deteriorate. The group of robots were abandoned by humans some hundred years ago and left to their fate under an artificial intelligence called I.S.A.C. As a huge asteroid is on its way on a collision with the planet, it’s time to leave for the droids. Maneuver your way through the puzzles and save yourself.
