Hi,
Recently I've bought a Sony SDC-500 Bitcorder, which turned out to be in need of new belts. After replacing them the recorder seemed to function fine, but then a problem popped up. Pushing the play button moves the pin of the eject lever out of its position and after pushing the button a few times the pin drops out, as well as the eject lever and its spring. This is caused by another lever at the bottom of the PCB, which moves the eject lever to the right when the play button is pushed. The spring of the eject lever is compressed when this happens and as it rubs agains the pin this is moved a bit. On page 12 of the SDC-500 service manual the eject lever is marked 27, its spring 28 and its pin 18.
I guess that I made a mistake when reassembling the recorder, but I can't figure out what is wrong. Can anyone help me?
Best regards,
Bart
