Syntax Shooting disk #1 (free edition)

The active Japanese MSX group Syntax, well known from their diskmagazine NV (which is still being released on a regular basis) have released a free disk containing four of the shoot'em-ups that were published on the NV diskmagazines by Imahi in the past.

Z80 syntax highlighting for Textpad

[D-Tail] created a file which adds Z80 syntax highlighting to Textpad, a popular text editor for Windows. TNIASM's pseudo-instructions are supported as well. The file can easily be converted to correctly highlight pseudo-instructions of other compilers, like SjASM.

A new version of MESS, the Multiple Emulator Super System based on MAME has been released. As usual, this version incorporates all changes which were made to the latest version of MAME and some emulation specific changes. In this case, none of the changes improve the emulation of MSX computers.

Karoshi PSG Sample Editor

A bit more than a year ago, Karoshi released a beta-version of PSG Sampler. The final goal: a fast all-in-one PSG tracker/sampler for MSX1 with a compact file format and a fast replayer.

At the moment the file format and its replayer are already created.
