CasLink 2.1
A few days ago an updated version of CasLink was released. New in this version:
- a bug fixed related to loading of 32kb ROMs is now fixed
- a bug in command like parsing code was fixed
For the Alternative Party a PowerPoint presentation was made about CasLink2, it's 5MB in size.
Active Brazilian developer muffie released an improved version of his version of Montezuma's Revenge today. Also his other two games in development, Tutankham and Pepper II, have been improved. Here's a summary of the changes to Montezuma's Revenge:
- The title screen now has music.
The Columbus of the MSX scene has done some exploration again.

The MSX1 emulator meisei, known for its somewhat unconventional yet interesting features, has been updated with support for tape images and a couple of VDP fixes. To get it, head to hap's homepage.
Montezuma and Pepper 2
After being announced earlier this week, Muffie, an active developer from Brazil has just released his two new Coleco-to-MSX conversions!
Montezuma's Revenge:
- Proper sound timing
- Original game modified to allow: restart after
The French/English website Passion MSX has published yet another game article. This time it's about Teddywarez' MSX2 version of the puzzle game Guru Logic, originally a game made for the Game Boy Advance, by the former Compile company.
As you may have noticed, the previous poll did run a bit long. Normally we'll bring up a new poll each month, but what was obvious to you was also obvious to us: the amount of votes for the Ten years from now poll was simply too good to be believable. Actually, we had the feeling that the results weren't completely realistic for a longer period of time already, during earlier polls.
