I bought an Checkmark (R & J Jansen) 256/512 Kb Memory Mapper. On the back of the original box they say: this is an 256 OR 512 Kb memory mapper. After I tested it with Mappertest V3.25 from Digital KC it came with 512 Kb memory (and the test was allright)But it doesn't work very well with Megarom Games (usas, pennant race 2 etc..) Anyone familiar with this specific memory mapper!?!!?!

I have a Checkmark 512kB memory mapper too.I never experienced any problems with it.It is too slow for 7MHz and turboR, so keep that in mind. It's strange it would only give problems with Megarom games. Did you try other software with it? It's very well possible the cracks you're trying are badly done.

to be honest my diskettes are 6 years old, maybe that's the problem cause the bass-demo (from xela soft) for 256 kb is working fine....I'll try some more software, maybe my diskettes (or diskdrive) is corrupt.
