Hi people!

We will make a announcement in the next week about the V9990 Powergraph and OPL4 Shockwave.

As we told before, will be only 15 units of each.

We already have the boards and parts to assembly. It just a question of time to start the sales.

About the shipping costs:

Handling, package and shipping to worldwide: 80 BRL (less than 30 EUR)

Big hug!
Tecnobytes.

Nice Smile Do I have to reserve one or are they already taken?

Yes, of course.

Some people made contact by website and our blog (some a long time ago) and this people will be contacted to confirm your interest, following the order that we received the messages.

Only the remaining units will be avaiable for sell, and the list is only to complete these (few) left units.

All "rules" will be explained in the email, in the next week.

Regards!
Tecnobytes.

I think this has been the problem of the Gfx9000 since it was first released in 1994 Smile.

Still it’s a neat piece of hardware. E.g. for Synthesix I currently have a text mode UI, but I was considering making a graphical UI for the Gfx9000 at some point. But of course, it’s is not high on the priority list, first I need to get all the basic functionality and UI in a good enough state, and there’s still a lot of work to be done there. Ah…

In ’98 I had similar ideas for a multi-VDP graphics engine for an RTS and RPG game I was working on… Multi-VDP, because I didn’t want to leave Gfx9000-less users behind, so mostly to give an improved / better performing experience on Gfx9000. In principle, it’s possible to write an engine which encapsulates the differences. I revisited them recently and noticed I even had some code already Smile.

But those games never got finished, and that’s always really the no. 1 priority… (My eternal flaw Smile, let’s hope I do better with Synthesix.)

This is so true Big smile but don't forget that symbos is supporting the GFX9000 Big smile And I have the feeling that symbos will get network support in the future Wink I have already the original from sunrise but would like to have a second spare part!
