Xak III: The Eternal Recurrence is the final game in a fantasy role-playing video game series called Xak, developed and published by the Japanese software developers MicroCabin and NEC. Xak III was originally under development to be released for the MSX2 however shortly after Xak: The Tower of Gazzel was released, the development project was halted. After several years the project was continued and finally released simultaneously for the NEC PC-9801 and FM Towns.

Famous Japanese composer Tahitani has rearranged all the BGM soundtrack from Xak III for OPLL/PSG.
Part one of the video with half of the tunes can be listened to here

@toni - it's not possible for us to alter the related video's, that process is fully automated. But if you add tags like Xak III and Gyabuneko to the vid they should appear, I suppose. JRT?

Request from Gyabuneko himself. The real author is Tahitani not him so all the references has been fixed. Our apologies to both!

I wonder if the game could be recreated on MSX2. The engine of Tower of Gazzel could be used and the assets seem convertible to MSX2.

The video reminded me more of Illusion City, with its elaborate character animations.
