pad(12), 13 and 14 are not supported on MSX1, so for that to work, you need the msx1muis binary from NYYRIKKI

Mounty: that's for joystick, which is fully supported on MSX1. This has nothing to do with mouse, but a mouse will give some signals on it. Which are useless.
