MSX Club West-Friesland 25 years

On May 24 2014 at Buurtcentrum 'De Huesmolen' in Hoorn, The Netherlands, MSX Club West-Friesland is going to celebrate their 25 years of existence. The club was founded by Bas Kornalijnslijper and for the first 15 years, he acted as president. Ten years ago, Eltje Kalkwiek took over.

During the day there will be several demonstrations and lectures. MSX Club West-Friesland initially started with the release of some Synthsaurus music files. As an ode to these roots, the music files will again be demonstrated but this time with the use of contemporary sound capabilities of the MSX computer. As a bonus there will also be an MSX controlled lightshow!

If you join the festivities, you will enjoy several local delicacies, drinks and snacks. The entrance fee is friendly, only 2 euros.

The meeting starts at 11:30 and ends at 16:00. Hope to see you all in Hoorn!

Hmmm, I had 15 likes, so I wonder how many complains there are. In the MRC policies and/or the forum rules there is no rule about using a signature (something most fora support). But I wont argue with MRC's decisions and respect it.

It was clearly not intended as a threat, but apparently that's what you see in it. I had the same once, when someone told me I should DIAF. Funny how we tend to misread people, don't you agree?

Maybe allow signatures in some setting? so ppl can opt-out of if it distracts them? I did thought it was a bit odd that he posted it but it didnt disturb me, I thought it was some form of belated businesscard "hey guys nice meeting you, in case you wanna contact me go this and that" instead of blatant spamming.

Anyway back on topic: Luppie it was nice meeting you indeed, last time I saw you in nijmegen I just said hi but I dont think i properly introduced my self (the quiz started right at that time). You brought some nice setup with you.. small and compact.. my current setup is like big with many cables, slotexpander etc etc Now you somewhat made me wanna get a 1chipMSX

A certain one, yes. Not for disagreeing but for overly aggressive posting style, systematically causing conflicts and even mouthing off staff members after repeated friendly requests to pipe down. And to assure consistency, even this person's sockpuppets wouldn't get any different treatment when displaying similar behavior.

@TheSpecialist - there are two likely scenarios for an IP ban on your proxy

1. A false positive in CloudFlare threat protection (but afaik you'd see a notice where you can request access)
2. A temporary IP block due to your proxy being used (by others) for brute force/DoS attacks on our server.

Either way, 'we' did not IP ban your proxy and any connectivity issues you might have experienced should be resolved by now. Keep calm and carry on.
