Thank you. A lot of the older posts I read seem to mention an XRGB device. Is the XSelect-D4 the new replacement?
Apparenty the Xselect-D4 does not provide scan doubler function... And the XRGB production seems to be stopped (and out of stock on most sites I've checked).
Maybe you can try a VGA monitor with a built in tuner, some have scart connectors... Not sure what is the picture quality tho.
Some monitors support. Even LCD ones. The ideal would be a list of the supported MSX monitors in the site. I have an Eizo Flexscan 8060 that works down to 15 KHz.

Just curious, which kind of cable do you use to connect to the monitor, and what picture quality are you getting, especially in 80 columns mode ?
I use a Samsung ScanMaster710mp, 17" TFT monitor with my TurboR and my PC. It is 17", RGB SCART, SVHS, composite video, and a TV tuner built in too! All good fun! Along with an excellent picture! I do not rate the sound though
Magoo, I made the cable myself, I use the RGB input of the monitor and the quality is great! Someday I'll show it up on www.tabajara-labs.com.br - The problem is that I don't need that, I have some commodore 1084 here that does the job nicely.
I use my TurboR SVHS output for the screen display, pitpan has visited my MSX home and commented how sharp the picture was. Indeed I think the picture is as clear/sharp as my PC is on the same monitor, I have not tried it on RGB though.
