Help with Xak II

Does anyone have any tips for beating Eby Fyl? I have grinded to level 44, have the best equipment available to me and have them spelled, but I can't even hurt her.

I saw John Hassink's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkiQ-8tZDAE&t=546s where it appears she gives up before the battle. How is this achieved? Do I need an item?

Thanks, that was it! Now why didn't I think of that, she's on a stage after all.

After I beat her, she goes on to complain Gospel didn't help her, like in John's video. I think he just skipped a few seconds there.
