One bug seems to be present in 2.07A as well as 2.07A++ version. If you set ATTR_H to 0 hidden files will still be shown (config was not edited on PC ). ATTR_S seems to work well on the other hand (no system files are displayed.
The MM.CFG does not specify the complete SORT configuration
It doesn't work properly since FAT16 support was added. (No effect on FAT16, and it works very partially on FAT12.)
Sorting does work on FAT16 version but you need to add 64 to the config. So using 65 sorts on filename ascending, if you have multiple files with same name but different extensions they are together but not sorted by extensions (so it probably sorts only on first 8 characters with filename sort, it would be better to sort using all 11 characters).
This adding of 64 (and even 128 is another option) is in the Japanese CFG explanation but not in your translation. That was the point. So your translation is incomplete (whether the feature does not work entirely is actually irrelevant).
I suspect you translation came from earlier versions. There were multiple SORT config items there (SORT, SORT2, SORT3). In 2.07 they were combined using a bitmask it seems.
If you get characters like that:
Your FAT is probably corrupted.
So... If I would like to find well working version of MultiMente, can someone point me to right direction?
This one is the best I have found for my setup. (Sunrise CF "Nextorised")
Don't we have MM in our download DB?
if not, we should
