WTB large memory mapper (2mb or 4mb)

Hi all,

I'm looking for a larger memorymapper with at least 2MB but preferably 4mb or larger.
I've tried to upgrade the one I have, but i guess I'm not good with solderingirons.. (didn't break it )

so is there anyone that has one that not being used anymore, please contact me at digital_brain@hotmail.com

Which one did you find?
You gave me the idea to upgrade my Gouda 1MB, just because it's possible and I've no problem microsoldering.
I just have no knowledge about this. I do see empty pads where components could be placed, but I don't know what.
If you, or anyone else has a 2MB or 4MB Gouda RAM cartridge, I'd like some high res pics of both sides.

Oh, never mind. I just received high res pics of the 4MB unit. I'm off hunting for a 4MB simm and be done with it.

Hey Meits,
I bought a 8bit4ever 4mb mapper so probably big enough
I was planning to upgrade my Gouda 1mb to 4mb but im just nog good at soldering, I do have all the parts needed though..
If I could get some help I would still like to do the upgrade because, why not?
I'm willing to get another donor memorycard for you to use, you can practise on mine before you start upgrading you own.
Im even willing to pay for the work.. and, we only live 20 minutes away from eachother

If two 4mb mappers aren't enough, you'll need this beast. From the looks of it, it's still available on their website.

Hi Moniz. Im in for everything.
The components are quite large, so no problem soldering them. It's just a matter of having them... And a computer to dare trying the result on (which I do as well )
There should be a 4MB simm on its way to me, but the parcel it's going in will not be sent for a while, so if you have chips, I'd be happy

I've just ordered new donorcards with the right chips, they need to be desoldered first.. the cards should be here in just over a week from now. Also needed are a few capacitors, there are a few on the donorcards but I'm not sure if you can re-use them or if they are even the right ones..
I'll let you know when I have them and we can arrange something. You can test them on my old beaten-up 8220, if that one blows it's not a huge loss..

I have that, but I have a 1MB Gouda cartridge as well. And if 1MB can be 4MB, then 1MB will be 4MB
