Demonseed, Spectrum and Amstrad and Commodore have TWO different Aliens(2) games, both are licenced movie games of course, MSX Aliens I am referring to is european game, uses first person view and is not too good in my opinion, mostly because it is very hard to know WHERE you are, as you can´t move at all!!! You stand still where you are and just can smootly turn around, and enter doors by pressing key for enter the door. Wink Aliens game which never was converted to MSX is much better, it´s Aliens - US version, which have many different missions.

It has really SCARY loading screen, CHECK OUT:

Well, the first link: Cool loading screen allright.
The game looks pretty restless/frenzied/claustrophobic, which is fitting for a game based on a restless/frenzied/claustrophobic movie. Wink

Why european only? One of the best PSG tunes I find to be those in YsIII, technically VERY good tunes. I'm thinking of remixing them in Renoise 2.0 using samples of a Yamaha PSR9000 keyboard I own.

Why european only?

Well, the reasons are pretty simple actually. Smile

We all know that Japanese game music just kicks ass & owns bigtime.

Partly due to this fact, Japanese game score:

* Appeared on lots of ports on various systems
* Has already been documented thoroughly by creators and fans respectively & on a worldwide scale

I decided to shed some light, and very deservedly IMHO, on the pantheon of "Western" game music from "the days", since it has its true share of gems as well.

I say "Western" as opposed to "European" since I don't want to exclude any brilliant stuff from South America, etc. Wink

I would like to cover Ys tunes too, but what keeps me from doing so is the fact that Falcom themselves already did a stunning job themselves at re-issues of the games.

Pretty cool that you use Renoise BTW, nice tracker!

After your remarks I went to youtube and well you're right. I found so many vids of the newer remakes and checks tracks of different levels. It's so awesome and it sort of makes me pissed on those Japanese folks for them being so selfish! - Let world wide users enjoy this supurb material and do english versions Tongue
