I recently came across this video of (ZX Spectrum) Software on Vinyl Records Pt. 1/2 | ft. Techmoan by RetroManCave, which made me wonder if there are also examples of MSX-compatible software released that way?

Yes still remember that. The flexi disk contained Basicode 3, and with that you could run programs transmitted over the radio (as part of the radio program Hobbyscoop) which you would also first again record on tape.

And if memory serves me right, you had BASICCODE and I do remember having a program on a Flexi_Disc containing some Basic code programs which you could load into your computer, among which of course MSX.
I think it was supplied with a RAM magazine, but... not 100% sure about that though.

Very interesting, I had never seen this media format. I believe it was not very popular here in my country.

I was a very cheap way to distribute "vinyl" with printed media. Unfortunatelly the Flexi Disc were very vulnerable.
