Thx, I ordered one
Beware that the composite video input is a BNC type connector.
Not too common, and needs some adaptator.

This should not cause bankrupt either -> Click here :)
Looks very nice! Last week i get my hands on a (almost new) monitor .. it look as new..and works like hell... so have 3 in spare now I think the Philips monitors are the best...
If anyone finds out if there's an easy and safe RGB modification to this, let us know...
I think the Philips monitors are the best...
I like CM8833 (old version) the best as well... Except that power switches are usually broken... and sound quality is horrible... and today all condensators tend to be dry... and if you replace them then next the flyback transformer will blow up... Practically they are just not meant to be used >20 years. I hope this CCTV monitor will last... at least it should be designed to be operational 24/7 for years so I think there might be a bit better quality parts inside... Only future will tell...
yeah the power button broke on my CM8833 and the sound... no problem we hooked up an amp to the nms8255
Yes the CM 8833 I or II are the best! I have 3 in- spare at the moment
.. sound is not the best indeed
...
Lucky me i have one CM 8833 II still (almost) new in box
Got some of those stashed away as well... The screen I have now has no power button, just a stand by button on some remote control :/, and I never liked any monitor's sound output... they're made for video, so let an amp with some good speakers do the audio
