Hi..

On my windows PC, when I chose scale_factor 1X, the screen is always filled, when I make it 2X, the scren is always filled but with higher quality ... and so on and this is good... openMSX version is 16.0

On my RPi, I must make it 2X so that the screen is filled, if I make it 1X, the MSX screen will be very small..openmsx is 0.13.0

On my android TV Box, if I make it 2X, it will be half the screen size on the center, If I make it 3X it will fill the screen .. openmsx is 0.12.0

any command to force stretching the screen even when it is 1X???

I don't know, I don't know anything about 'armbian orangepi'... Does it have a community and an updated software distribution? openMSX 0.12 is 6 years old...!

I downloaded this image from july 2019
Armbian_5.90_Orangepione_Ubuntu_xenial_default_3.4.113_desktop.7z

it keeps installing openmsx 0.12.0, how to change this to make it install more modern openmsx...

p.s installing openmsx 15 package (.deb) manually using dpkg..after that t keep asking for missing libs even when i install one it keeps asking for others

How about just compiling from sources? Wouldn't that be easier?

I don't know how to compile in linux, I am new to linux.. is it difficult??
My experimen with linux is that whenever I install something, it asks a lot about dependencies..so is compiling openmsx 16 easy??

* why aren't you running/using a more up to date image? (Focal == Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Bullseye == Debian 11)
* Flatpak?
