I haven't checked that one, but I think all Microcabin disk games have a copy protection. I'm not sure they're all identical though. In most (if not all) cases, the box shows a "No Copy" logo.

The box shows the logo Thanks
OK, but again, I'm not sure it's exactly the same copy protection as Xak Gazzel has, for instance.
To copy Microcabin games on MSX with Formula, every game needs a different *.FML helpfile. So I'd say every Microcabin game has a different protection.
I only managed to copy the original Microcabin diskettes on MSX with Formula and these additional *.FML files...
I have explained that PDI is the best for DSK-PRO because it was made for it.
When something is made for one thing of course it is better than another one that it was not.
So, PDI is better than DMK for DSK-PRO.
I created the tool and I know what I am saying. Thust me.
Can you elaborate on this? So what exactly is the advantage of PDI here for the DSK-PRO? What would go wrong if you would use DMK instead? Just asking to understand this better.
And as you said, it's impossible to create a tool for MSX that can writes all DMK images using just a MSX FDC.
And PDI is just for MSX. Everything possible for the MSX i will give the support for it.
But that doesn't mean you couldn't use DMK. If you only want to use features that you can write with the MSX FDC, you simply use a subset of DMK.
So DSK-PRO will use PDI with its versions but one day can even work with DMK also with some limitations but it is something for the future. DSK-PRO 9.0 is done and will be launched this week.
Well, it is promising that you are at least now considering to use DMK in the future
You are gonna love it.
Why? Apparently it cannot copy or preserve most of the existing disks with copy protections... or at least, that hasn't been tested yet.
I *will* love a version of the tool that can! As Wouter already said, it would be very good to have a much more user friendly tool to replace READ-DMK... So, I'm keeping my hopes up that this will be realized at some point
Hi Latok, do you have a working version of Formula? Mine is not working properly. The copy disk function is not.working.

I never saw this Formula, where can I get it?
Hello, mars2000you, how are you?
How can I contact you privately? Can you send an email to me? mdblanco.br@gmail.com
I mean any software support. There is no BIOS to support 1.44 Mb.
I am under the impression you are TOP 3 in the world in direct access to FDCs, by a HUGE MILE, so a lack of BIOS is not a problem to you, right? You can use direct access.
who are the TOP 1 and 2?
DSK-PRO 9.0 Almost done people!
