Great support & enthusiasm!
If you've been thinking 'shitty stuttery player', turns out Chromium 89 broke Web Audio (ScriptProcessorNode)
(One user reports: 'Windows only, macOS seems to work ok')
Hi everybody ! Thanks a lot for the cue sheet and for the nice comments.
If you want to listen to the album, the best place is the Bancamp page because it streams the remastered version :

Hi LoloGP,
I downloaded the album FLAC zip about a week ago (thanks!), I just re-downloaded, and notice the files are actually different. Also my cue sheet doesn't quite 'fit' anymore, need to re-align
Did you actually did a remaster last week / just now? At first glance I notice it's less loud overall, and e.g. the snares/drums in 'A Fighter' are less loud. OTOH e.g. 'Don't Leave Me Alone' sounds a bit louder now, more high/treble.
Had in mind to give some feedback on the album/tracks, haven't gotten around to that yet..

Sorry bout that! I assure you the mixes won't change anymore and the Bandcamp files won't be updated, I'm satisfied with them and don't have the competences to do better. I've spent a lot of time, recently, remixing everything using my new monitoring headphones (Sennheiser HD25). If you compare to the versions on Youtube or Soundcloud, the mix should be a bit louder and more clear, and the low-ends should be less muddy, making the songs sound not-to-crappy when listened in a car audio system.
It's still amateur production anyway
Haha, no need to apologize, tweak as much as you want. Perhaps leave a message when you decide to do another mix/master anyway
I do think there are some differences between tracks, where I think one sounds a bit better than the other, and yeah, the album might reach another level when mixed/mastered professionally, but for amateur level this is pretty great right Perhaps you should reach out to the sound team / composers? (Might not be impossible to reach Kazuhiko Uehara and/or Motoaki Furukawa and/or Iku Mizutani :) Gradius 2 MSX is a masterpiece, game & soundtrack wise, a proper professional album release wouldn't be out of place I think.
If you would still like a bit of extra exposure, you can opt for submitting a news post here, which you van submit via the menu above (news > submit news). I think it gets automatically published on MRC's Fakebook channel then as well.
I think it deserves one anyway. I still think the lack of response on this is pretty lame
It might not be everyone's cup of tea (overall), but there must be something for everyone there? I did notice it was a bit to digest / go through, esp. w/ the dressing-up perhaps. So my advice would be to get a download and listen by cue sheet (helps me )
Thanks for the advice ! News submited
