Hi guys,

like many of us here I'm building a Konami collection for my MSX (and have been doing for the last 2-3 years).
The Konami game list over at the excellent site msxnet.org has been a great help, but in that list it implies that the Frogger game was released in both Japan and Europe. During my time collection I have yet to see a single webpage/ebay listing/picture of a European version of the Frogger game.

So I'm wondering if this really exists, does anyone have it or has seen it?

AFAIK all the early konami games are bi-lingual. Both english and japanese on the box/manual, etc...

I have a copy of frogger, a Japanese copy, the cartridge only. I also have a copy of cabbage patch kids on cartridge only - i have never seen this game until recently!

I intend putting both on ebay, but i cant find the charger for my camera to talk pictures at the moment Sad

Quite sad really, I have approx 50 MSX cartridges to put on ebay, although there are only 20 or so Komani ones.

hmmm, it doesn't seem that way to me. On generation-msx.nl you can find:

Frogger (1983), a clearly japanese only box:

and then, for example:
Super Cobra (1983), the typical european box:

djh1697:
thanks for the games I got this week :-)
Quick and in good condition.

Cabbage Patch Kids clearly is a remake of Atlethic Land, done around the time those dolls were quite popular.

I've played the games using emulation of course, but I'm glad to have them original now.

Yeah, nice examples... But notice how Frogger says "FROGGER" in english too.

Gradius / Nemesis:

This was how it was sold in europe. Note the english next to the japanese everywhere, and the note that the manual is in english, french, german, etc...

And there are many more examples.
