Mid 90's it became known how to expand the sample memory of MSX-AUDIO to 256 KB. A few programs I know support this memory:

  • Unknown Reality megademo
  • Sampbox v4.3 Macro (a sample recording tool)
  • Voicer v1.10 (another sample recording tool)

Are there more programs having support for the 256 KB sample expansion and if so: what are they called and who developed it?

Meridian had 256 KB sample ram support? What was the purpose of this then?

With 2 Music Modules, both containing 256KB sample RAM you could add some nice samples to your songs Wink

YEP!I didn't find anything about 256 KB sample ram support in the manual though.

btw. did ya know you can make use of your OPLL3/4 too? just plug it in and use it as it was your msx-audio (musmod)With 18 channels, 2OPL and 4OPL support? Wink That would be great.
