Hi.
In the default setting, the "N" key will drop the item.
There are no joystick button assignments, so you will need to press the keyboard keys even when using the joystick.

Key operation of Souls Keeper:

Left and right arrow keys: Move left and right
Up arrow key: Jump
Down arrow key: Talk/Go through door
Spacebar or JoyTrig1: Attack
M key or JoyTrig2: Show item list
N key: Drop item

Thanks @piroyan!
I am playing it on an emulated console, so I can map "N" to the X or Y button, no problem.

Maybe add the keys to the flyer that comes with the game :-)
