what? is Space Manbow 2 being actually sold?
there are tons of graphics there that were ripped off from another games that are also in the market

the seller is just asking to be sued :-(

But SPACE MANBOW 2 used to be available as a "free by email" from "Now Defunct Company"?

It was. But it no longer is. So you need to contact someone who has the rom. But as soon as someone raises his/her hand he will be burned at the stake for offering warez?? (can a moderator/developer/whoever shed light on the legal status of the manbow2 rom?)

That's why only the creator of the game can currently provide the rom, he's also the only one person who could allow a free distribution, as the game is no more sold.

To make the things very complicated, there are several dumps of this game, with 3 different mappers in the emulators - one of these dumps is hacked (the saves in the flashrom are removed) and has the KonamiSCC mapper, the other dumps are not hacked (saves in flashrom) and use therefore 2 variants of the KonamiSCC mapper. These variants correspond to the 2 real releases on cartridge.
