Here's another interesting topic that seems to be missing here: photos of your collection! Please, post here pictures of your MSX collection.

Here's mine (I've been collecting MSX now for about one year + some games from my childhood time):

Konami games:

Several games from Microcabin, Falcom, Taito etc.

Manuals and few loose games:

Turbo R and other hardware:

Nice collection. Must have cost a fortune Wink

Here is my humble collection. As you can see I a more of a player than a collector, most of them are without box.

Great collections Huey and onetunafish! Smile
I'm mostly a gamer too, but once in a while I just love to look at those manuals and gorgeous boxes of the games. LOL!

Fine collection, Aki! :-)

Here´s mine. My "collection room" is really a thin room so is kind of hard to take photos on a "normal" angle but I´m already working on it. Also things are really messy - I´m still trying to catalog anything and put them in Ziplocks. Lots of work ahead of me. :-D

Some cassetes and japanese games on really small boxes, like Nidecom ones:

I'd love to get more info on such a Casio machine as there is none emulated so far...

Let me know what you need, Manuel. As long as it doesn´t involve soldering / dessoldering and I can do in on my (unfortunately) very limited free time, I´d love to help. :-)

Well, I'd like to see its ROMs dumped and the slot configuration analysed (and some other details). This is not so easy... it requires you to connect a diskdrive to it and run some software from a disk in that disk drive. Can you set something up like that?

Also, high res photos of its mainboard are also most welcome.

Actually that might be a little hard for another bizarre reason (I´m getting good at it. :-(  ). I don´t have an external 3.5" drive for my MSX, only 5.25". And my PC can´t take that format.

What I can try is to use a 5.25 drive on that MSX and then plug it in the Panasonic and transfer the contents to the MMC. It might worth the shot.

First thing first, find some 5.25" disks. I´ll try my best. :-D

What software shoud I run on it?

Mainboard photo might be easier, I´ll give it a try this weekend - I have to replacea TurboR keyboard membrane too, might do it alltogether.

Please let me know.
