Since I whined so hard to get audio/music stereo on a jack output I guess I'm obligated to join
Hey, I totally missed out on it having a stereo jack. Nice!
Yes, I love my 400$ stereo jack!
did you find enough buyers?
Only one extra. More people would not dramatically reduce the price.
So already made the order and Eugeny has posted the package.
I wonder how good the audio quality (and networking performance) will be
The network performance is good. I do not know about the audio quality, as my GR8NET is from an earlier batch without the audio jack
I got one and must say it works like a charm. Stereo sound is sublime!! Real great!thumbs up for Eugeny.
Fully agree with Abi, you won't regret your purchase.
Of course I will not regret buying it.
I already have a purpose for it. For that I need to have acceptable networking performance to make it work.
And acceptable means about 20 TCP/IP connections per seconds. Every connection has to transfer a JSON messages of about 300 bytes.
If there was DTLS support in the W5100 or FPGA, then I could have had a more relaxed MSX because of the way more efficient message format.
I will see where the bottlenecks are and if I can work around it.
In case someone wonders, it has something to do with: https://developers.meethue.com/entertainment-blog
