My little project that I've been working on the past year or so is finally in a state that is good enough to share with the rest of the world.
So for everyone that has a Wii, watch the video on www.wiimsx.com
And for everyone that does not have a Wii already, buy one!

Great Tim, maybe an option to insert a disk and or rom outside the XML file would be an option. Roms are mostly detected by the romdatabase in blueMSX so that should be a problem. Maybe something to think about for advanced users.

Is an external keyboard support implemented?

All with all a great release!

Is an external keyboard support implemented?
Yes it is. I recommend using the 'Logitch cordless Wii keyboard'. It is a nice and small wireless keyboard in Wii color (white).
Any other USB keyboard should work too.
Not only the emulated MSX uses the USB keyboard, also the UI is completely controllable using the keyboard. F12 can be used to toggle the 'home'-menu, F11 is mapped to 'change disk' hot-key.

Why is the DOL gone from the SVN?

Because it is very inconvenient to keep it up to date. Releases will be added to the project downloads instead (so is the release candidate).

great start!

two things:
1) how do I turn on moonsound support? I tried Bombaman and Pumpkin Adventure 3 but both used FM instead of moonsound?
2) is it normal controller input is lagging? (I'm using the standard Wii controller)

Yes, I think exactly the same.

I've played SD-snatcher today (up until the green factory) it's a real pleasure to use wiimsx (check the download stats on the homebrew browser)

This emu is exactly what an emu should be for the average user: self extracting / easy to use / no hassle.
