Have you seen this youtube upload of Mappy MSX2 enhancement patch?
Youtube

You can download the patch from his website as well
web page

Looks really nice, if the scroll is fixed it will be perfect.
Select key toggles the enhancement on off apparently.

This is a launcher for Mappy that patches on-the-fly. (Press < Select > key during splash screen to swtch the game in MSX1/MSX2 mode)

MPMSX2O.COM is not really useful because we need a cartridge port with a control of /SLTSL.

Great job !

I really want this game to buy. Even the same as Pac Man for the MSX. I like video games more then I have collected the original game. Cool

Nice!, good SCR4 artwork and really cool MSX2 sprites!

Right now you need to load it from disk; but maybe it can be turned to ROM without sacrificing the on-the-fly switching. No idea about this code works and how it's arranged in memory...

It hangs here :/ Maybe I got the wrong version of mappy.rom? Or is it not liking DOS2?

Are you booting it using MPMSX2.COM?. At least with MSX-DOS1 it works...

Hey Kun!

Try with the mappy.rom version which you can find in the Legacy. The rom it´s 16kb. Not 32kb.
And works fine from DOS2

I converted it to ROM. (You can find it with your favorite web search engine.)
