I dunno, I'd be tempted to think there's just a note-table in the player, with each emoticon having its own pitch offset. But alas, not going to dive into 11 pages, perhaps it's been mentioned already.

Koichiro has done all new songs with different pitches...

Version 1.03:
- FIXED: The pitch of the music doesn't change with different emoticons
(new size: 3 Mbits)

Hi Victor,

Awesome work on fixing the pitch of the music based on the emotions!! I wanted to try them all and compare them to the PSG counterparts. They all sound really nice. Great job!!

But I realized that the rom crashes if I force PSG now by holding P when I wanted to compare. Perhaps the PSG feature got broken with your new fixes. I also noticed that the 4 cart combination cheats only seem to work if you start in level 1 and not if you use a password. With the actual cartridges the cheats also work when you use a password. Both of these are very minor things but perhaps good for you to know. In any case thank you for all your effort!
