Reinking pens for the Sony PRN-C41 (and Atari 1020) plotter

There is a medical mail order supply in germany who sell new pens for 20.- Euro.

I received a package of plotter pens from the US. They come in five pen packages, either all four colours or four black pens.
Each package is 5 USD, ofcours you have to add shipping and customs fees.
Best Electronic is an owner based mail order company for Atari 8 bit and ST devices that exists since 1984. The Atari owner is trying very hard to get spare parts for our retro colleagues.
The website is anachronistic and fits the topic. But it also holds interesting treasures for us: The Atari Plotter 1020 for example. Without its pens our PRNC41 is unfortunately worthless, here you can still buy it cheap.

I sold my Sony PRN-C41 ages ago because I couldn’t find the pens anywhere. In the early/mid nineties Sony Spain no longer had stock of them.

hello, have you tried medical pens? I saw videos with the plotter that mounted colored plastic pens very similar to these ..
