I recently bought a TF1260, a 68060 accelerator card for Amiga 1200 by Stephen Leray. Upon gazing on TerribleFire forums for information I spot what it looks like a nice MSX project: TFMSX.

The hardware design can be seen in detail here. Maybe it is good we document this on the MRC wiki or something :)

I'm curious ... What is this TFMSX exactly ?
Is is a standalone MSX ?

It is standalone MSX2, with Z80, V9958, YM, two types of RAM, CPLD as for everything else, plus STM32F7xx for USB HID stack, and maybe some more.

Very, very interesting.

What will be the use of the CPLD ?
Is it intended to be assembled in a mini PC rack ?
Will it be for sale ?

Probably for glue logic and replacing original logic chips, and I don't see 8255 in the design so it could implement that functionality needed in cpld unless that's done in the ARM processor.

Not an accelerator but a complete MSX machine!, really cool indeed!. I'm eager to see if higher Z80 speeds can be implemented

I love the format of the terriblefire in my friend, with a reverse socket, it would not be possible to do something like that with msx2? I suppose that for 2+ and turboR it would be a miracle.
