Does somebody has the two disks that where sold with this cartridge?
@tfh. Those are the parameters I used to make the dump you might already have received through other channels. Would be nice if you could compare them
I will

I thought I did, but those are the Multi Telopper disks...
Here is the dump file:
https://github.com/popolonx/MSX_STUFF/blob/main/easy_teloppe...
It is taken using Canon V25 (megaflashrom in upper slot, easy telopper 2 in left slot).
It seems it is identical (at least based on DOS COMP) with the existing rom in f i l e - h u n t e r.

Yes, they have the same checksum and are identical :)
Thanks for the dump!
So, what is the cartridge contents after all? Is it a game or what? 'cos it's a big cartridge containing lots of memory in it! And why it isn't working?
Damn! I have been trying to buy one of these for years. I have the HB-F900 with the HBI-F900! This is the only thing missing to get the full system.
I know the cartridge well as I translated some time ago a review about the software/cartridge and how it compares to the Easy Telopper software. The cartridge has a Kanji ROM and also RAM. What happens is the software that came with the cartridge creates a RAMDISK at boot and uses the letter C: for it and copies all to the RAMDISK to run from there so it is much faster than off the floppies.
I do believe I have the software somewhere and even managed to get the software running off a RAMDISK using the GR8NET but I did not play much more with it as I was waiting for the manual for the Easy Telopper software, to understand how it works (as it is not that simple to guess). I got a PDF from a Japanese user but not sure if I can share it as he put on the pages something like ´for you only'. I will ask him if he allows me to share it.
And if anyone wants to sell me the Easy Telopper II, definitely willing to pay quite well for it.
Cheers.

Ok I got a cartridge from Yahoo. The thing is, it seems the cartridge itself I believe has nothing on it, meaning, no application. As per the article I read some time ago, the cartridge has memory and a ROM for Kanji so I believe if you try to boot from the cartridge itself, nothing happens.
I will try to check if the memory shows as expanded using some testing tool and also will try the other Easy Telopper software I have on disks to see if it can see the cartridge.
I know the original cartridge came with two disks and that may be the key to this, meaning you need the disks to work with the cartridge...

From the dumps of the ROM we see there is actually some code in there (the AB header is there to indicate executable code). But the code may only initialize the RAM for use as RAM disk and offer some routines to assist with the program on disk.
I have the cartridge here and some software but not the original software that came with the cartridge. It would be good to know from other people that own the cartridge what they see regarding RAM on their machines when the cartridge is inserted, if they can make a RAMDRIVE and which size it is. I tried but it is relatively small so I am not even sure if my cartridge is indeed working. There has to be more people out there with these cartridges.

I currently have my Easy Telopper II cartridge on loan, but will soon receive it back.
I will definitely try the cartridge and "Ramdrive" on my Sony HB-F900.
