Hello

Can anyone help me!
I want run Meridian 3.0 beta, but when i start program it says the "program needs 256 kb free memory"
I have MoonSound, NMS 1205 FM-Pac, Turbo-r ST with 256 Kb internal main RAM and external 512 Kb memory mapper module.
256 Kb internal memory location is: Slot address 3-0
512 Kb external memory location is: Slot address 2-0
Meridian 3.0 software, does not recognize external memory. I try MEMTR.COM software, but this software support only MSXDOS1.

Do i have to expand the internal turbos memory?
I want play standard and XG midi-files my MoonSound! Or MID2MWM converter it would be a good idea.

Regards

IIRC meridian only uses the internal mapper, and the developer had a reason (speed?) to only support this. I might be wrong, it's been a long time since I tampered with Meridian. Such a shame the tracked did not get that final bit of polish it needed.

Either way, for only playing MIDI files Meridian is quite a bit of overkill...

Midi2Opl4 is not so great, It doesn't use a good patch table . It just uses one sample per instrument, which makes it sound terible.

@Edi-73: you also could try this one. You can free up memory with this

Is there another program, that will can play standard- and yamaha XG midi-files with MoonSound?
I don't have external synth, only MoonSound.
