I actually made an offer on one of these auctions and it got rejected. I wonder why
ashame: I could offer you a Hyper Rally and Shalom in a good condition (both complete), if you are interested in.

Today I got Shalom from another user. Hyper Rally really depends on price/quality and shipping costs. I'm in The Netherlands.

Expect quite a bit of that. Collecting a decent Konami set may take you a decade - if not more.

I got some very good titles in only a couple of weeks. And I am not working towards a complete collection. And I am very impatient

Just a warning from someone who just started a few years ago, so I'm also pretty new.
MSX collecting will break you. You will find that you have to be patient when a game that's relatively common only comes up for sale once a year. You will also find yourself paying more than you ever have for a game for something that is pretty simplistic. A few years ago, I was just going to get the Aleste games, maybe a couple Konami titles... A few years ago, I thought 30k yen was a lot of money for a game. A few years ago I thought a game was rare if it only came up for sale once a month or so.
The only thing that's lucky is that MSX collecting never got hugely popular during the retro resurgence, or we'd be looking at 5 figure MSX games.
I don't want to dissuade you. I just want to send a message from the fuuuuuuture.
And I am not working towards a complete collection.
Actually, this is good. I wanted to give you a piece of advice. Avoid the way of the fullset as this is the path to the dark side. Any fullset for this platform will require an immense investment of both time and money.
Collecting for a fullset will make you go from, "I'm not going to pay four figures for that game!" to, "I wish somebody would take this big stack of money from me in exchange for that game."

I am not worried at all. MSX never get's old to me. Not having patience was a joke. I'm just eager to get certain titles, which are luckily reasonably available. One title kinda scares me. Road Fighter. It used to be easily available and is still one of my favorite MSX titles ever.
Hard to get a complete one it seems. And Japanese sellers have horrendous prices, which I refuse to pay.

A nice copy of Euro Road Fighter took me about 1-2 years to find. The Japanese copy comes around more frequently. It's uncommon, but not all that rare. Most Konami ROMs are identical across countries of release, so if all you want is the game, buy the Japanese version. King's Valley is similar - the European package is harder to find.
This forum is a great place to build your library - every once in a while, someone will sell a large variety of different games, at fair prices. You just need to be patient
