Great work! Take my money!
@ Msxkun. Well, they follow File-Hunter on twitter, so if you tag him when sharing there about your work... I know because they wrote about Turrican, too
An impressive work! One copy will be mine for sure! (What about including the digital version when someone buy the physical one? So people don't jave to wait to play it, and often emulation is more practical to play...)
Also, the video marks the first time in my life when I used a fiddle, a banjo, a ukulele and a baritone sax.
Ah, you got the same pep pills as Cnoz has. sweet.
Everyone's on vacation it seems :-/ but here's an update anyway.
I wish I was on holidays :_(
Indie Retro News wrote an article about it too, which I'm super happy about!

Congrats, that seems like a miracle. That place use to ignore almost all MSX stuff, not sure if they don't care or they lack the ability to check MSX places for news... Well. :hannibal: Congrats by duplicate :)
Just contact the guy. He's very friendly. Or just ask me to inform him :)

Seems like it isn't possible to get chips these days. Or is it? Let me know if you know where to get ~2048 kb with flashrom (current rom is 1056kb).
Too bad if we can't release this due to shortage in chips I even have the box-cover-art ready!

I found 16 MBit (2M x 8) 5V flash ROMs in stock on DigiKey and Mouser:

Probably also available on AliExpress and the likes, search for AM29F016, M29F016, MBM29F016, A29016, LH28F016 (8-bit) or AM29F160, M29F160, MBM29F160, A29160, LH28F160 (dual mode 8/16-bit), etc.
Since you’re so close to 8 MBit, you could also look at compressing some of the data.
Or, use two 8 MBit chips.
p.s.
Alliance Memory
Manufacturer of Legacy Memory SRAM, DRAM, and Flash ICs
A trusted resource for a growing range of must-have & hard-to-find memory ICs for the communications, computing, industrial, and consumer markets. We are a privately held company with headquarters in San Carlos, California.
Meet David Bagby, Alliance Memory President and CEO, and learn how we're coming to the rescue for users of hard-to-find memory ICs for new and legacy designs.
That’s nice that they’re around :).
Awesome Job!!!
As Everybody I keep awaiting for the order directions …

Truly - thanks for helping out!!! But... I feel that all of this is really out of my league (I'm no electrical engineer :)). I am hoping that someone is providing the service of manufacturing+packaging and possibly selling. (msxcartridgeshop seemed to specialize on a special chip, ericb didn't support flashroms last time I checked, and Kai Magazine's supplier was out of carts/pcb-cards). I can check again with Côte Gamers of course.
Perhaps RBSC can also help with their design?
