Only three... for the moment.

That's why I would say that it might be better to make a new device that is easier to manage. One of these three games was sold with the Ninja Tap so in fact there are only two left that justify making this device again. And also on condition that you can get your hands on them.
I say that but maybe it's merely not possible. Anyway, now it's certainly too late.

Two months ago all we had on this device was a blurry picture. Now it is fully documented, including the fix for the quirk in the original design, we have derivative device (shinobi) and there are some units being produced by the guys in MSXVillage. On the software side we have the drivers for MSXgl, we have a game being produced by @aoineko and the support for the device in forthcoming versions of OpenMSX.

It might not be a profitable project, but surely there's a lot of fun involved.

It was actually already emulated since 2004 or so. But a later change broke it. Looks like no one actually used the emulation.

It's not simple to get the software. There are only two demos available. And then on OpenMSX, we need at least 3 USB controllers and two other players. It's not easy to put it all together.

Now on real MSX you can have Ninja Tap and Aoineko made drivers. All that remains is to find software. Then we can look for players.

Indeed! After finding the quirk in the real hardware it was possible to conclude that the emulation broke when it became more accurated, representing the internal open collector outputs on pins 6,7.

Perhaps now, but in the future who knows?

One USB HUB will help on that.

Absolutely!

Let me be clear on one thing, I am literally not trying to sell multitap interfaces (or any other hardware), I am just doing it for fun, like many of my other projectsn, and posting the results just in case someone else wishes to make something useful from the Information I share.

Did anybody here played Muhonmourn 3 with more than one player ?
the game recognizes the inputs of WASD and controllers on ports 1 and 2 on the title screen but after the game starts it is only possible to play with cursor keys. All other players are contrelled by AI.
