MSX user turbor surprises us with a third entry to the MRC Tenliner Challenge. After his first two entries Lifeguard and Mutate he created a new game, openMSX Memory. Memory is of course the well known game for 2 players, where each player turns 2 cards on the table to try and find 2 similar pictures. The game ends when all cards are turned, and the player that made the most matches wins.

This version of Memory has a special MSX theme, because the cards you play with feature openMSX developers and contributors. The game runs on any MSX2 or higher and uses screen 8 and a media file for the graphics. Because of the animations the game is best played on an MSX turbo R though.

The download contains the BASIC game, the media file and an autoexec.bas for convenience. It also includes a readme with some more background information.

Indeed, I didn't see any other way to indicate a draw. With the limitation of only having 255 chars on a line, the text "It is a draw" (and the needed "if..then.." ) didn't fit on the line anymore.
It is neither player one, neither player two, so it serves it purpose Tongue
