Last month after over 20 years break the first new program was released for Panasonic JR-200. The reason for a long break was that practically all the documentation of this perverse computer had been lost in time. After a lot of reverse engineering FIT anyway managed to release an intro for this machine.

As an experiment they now also ported this intro to MSX and it can be downloaded from FIT productions page. For the lazy readers, there is also a short video on YouTube.

MSX version seems to have better music than original Tongue
No wonder though when you look at the original hardware.

There's about 1/3 of the frame left, so yes, MSX could do more, whereas the poor Panasonic was really struggling to make the ends meet. At the end I decided to make a faithful port instead of adding something to the already-crowded screen. There haven't been many smooth scrolling demos on MSX1 anyway.
