Metal Gear Solid - The Legacy Collection | MSX Resource Center

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Metal Gear, Konami released an ultimate collection of Metal Gear games, including the original MSX titles, for Playstation 3. The collection is already available in USA/Japan, and will be coming to Europe in September. The Legacy Collection includes:

Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition
Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition (featuring the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2)
Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker: HD Edition
Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions
Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition

The collection also includes both Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novels which are illustrated by acclaimed artist, Ashley Wood, and the second of which was never released in Europe.

Looking at this USA price my guess is the European version will cost ~ € 55,-. Glad I didn't buy the HD collection, this is the edition I want! ^_^

I got it already, but didn't open open it yet. It comes on 2 disks. If you pre-ordered in North America, it comes with a nice poster.

MGS1 & MGS2 (MSX games) still looks (and plays) horrible on ps3.

FYI, on emulation is a million times better.

Good thing I didn't payed for it, isn't even worth (even for free).
