#msxdev compo 2012 closed

The first #msxdev competition has closed with 7 finished entries. Five games and two demos, to be more precise. The complete list of entries looks as follows:

  1. Inferno (Aetherbyte)
  2. Pixiedust (Darkstone)
  3. No Pressure (Flying Bytes)
  4. Burner Burst (Gamecast Entertainment)
  5. Baruko (Gamecast Entertainment)
  6. Barebone Bullets (syn)
  7. Third Screen (TNI)

The contestants of the competition will now have time to rate the entries of the entries and the winner will receive an incentive of 50 euros. From January 29th to 31st there will be an additional chance to cast votes for anyone who visits the #msxdev IRC Channel on the Rizon network. The results will then be published in the first week of February.

All in all I'd say this one was quite a success. 7 entries, finally some MSX2 releases again and a nice amount of brand new MSX developers. Big thumbs up for the organization and all contestants. Looking forward to the 2013 edition already!
