Although the MSX computer system is considered as a retro, or antique, computersystem, there are still dedicated fairs held around the globe. And in the Netherlands this is no difference. This year started off with the "Annual MSX fair" in Nijmegen, a gathering for MSX geeks to get their kicks in.

To preserve the dying race, we have to make sure we archive our movements. Make a note, preserve software and, in this case, take photographs as proof. And that we did. Plenty of galleries of the Nijmegen fair are available already. Here's a list of photo shoots put online. We even have our own gallery on the list. Go, enjoy and keep the legacy alive.

There's a picture of some kind of "Sony lookalike" Hit Brick.
Does anyone have more information on that? Is it a homemade case?

Of course it is custom made, Lego surely can't afford more license any more. You will find some more images at msx.pics searching for LEGO. We 've fun in building LEGO, so next will be the Casio.

Two things

1. The link to the gallery on the MSX Home Computers facebook group seems to be not working.
2. Who made the thumbnail to this newspost? I can't find the picture of Guyver800 that was used in the thumbnail in any of the galleries.

  1. It´s a link to the 'MSX Home Computer Group' in facebook where you can find more contributions.
  2. Me made this, I usually only publish pictures which are not blurry etc. As I taken some photos of GuyveR800, I noticed later my ISO was too high to get good quality pictures. I re-adjust my settings and kept on shooting. But light was very bad for nice photos. Anyway, the fair was good. So yes, there are more pictures taken than published by me, but please believe, there is a reason for.

OMG I see I really missed a lot of nice MSXing being ill... Sad BUT nice to see you MSX fella's had a REAL good time! Big smile Next year certainly will be there again.
