The website of Bas Kornalijnslijper has been extended with a "Do It Yourself"-corner. In this section you can find step-by-step information on how to add memory, build in 7Mhz etc. At this moment the "Do It Yourself"-corner is only available in Dutch. But in the near future this part will be translated into English.

Nice!
Please, don't forget to translate to english, and if you can illustrate this with photos steep to steep i think that can be easy to understand for the non english people.
A lot of thanks for your work, bas!

Hi Bas, if possible please also add a DIY for replacing the original battery of the Sony HB-F700. It has a strange battery installed compared to other MSX models which have penlites. Thanks!

Well, it's nearly 6 years since this topic was started, but most of the DIY articles still haven't been translated into English. I could do a translation if anyone is interested. My native language is English, but I've learnt Dutch and I can even watch and understand the soap "Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden" available on www.rtlxl.nl . Unfortunately, I haven't seen the latest episodes, because I've been having trouble viewing the episodes since No. 5003 using XBMC on my Raspberry Pi computer and there's a problem with the sound on my laptop, so I wonder if anyone else on here has been having problems with the add on RTLXL in XBMC. I'd like to be paid for my translation in MSX hardware instead of money, such as an MSX2 computer with 720K double sided disk drive and probably some of the upgrades that Bas often does, because I've been struggling to get the money together to buy a basic Philips NMS8250 or similar looking MSX2 computer from anywhere. If Bas isn't interested in me doing this, then perhaps a non Dutch speaking MSX user out there could make me an offer, then they could use the instructions for their own DIY upgrade.

A replacement guide for all models (Sony & Philips) would be handy, as well as information on which battery should be used as a replacement.
