Portuguese blog on repairs

After ricbit's new blog last week, again a new blog in Portuguese goes airborne. This brand new blog is created by Rafael "B@ss", and gives information about repairs of MSX computers and MSX peripherals. This new initiative is a welcome aid for all who take their time to save their old hardware from the round bin, to make it alive and kicking again.

Yes, we do.

But Brazil is not the same thing as Portugal.

In Argentina and Uruguay, they speak spanish as well.
Does it make those countries "Spain"?

And some times, Wiki sucks big time...

Yep, it's time for us Brazilians to create more material in our mother language.
BTW Wolf, what's going on with mrc Brazil? 100% outdated. Do you need someone to maintain it with news?

Yes.

It's a matter of motivation, fact is that most visitors (from any country) remain on the English page. It can be rather demotivating for localizers to see no reactions whatsoever on translated pages, equally demotivating as being the only localizer who remains active.

The Spanish section is in full shape however, thanks to Ivan..

So, it's not just an issue of localizers eh..

If you ever read the localized pages (es, br, nl, ru) and you like the fact that they are (expected to be) translated, do show your appreciation by injecting some activity into the reactions!

How can I help with the brazilian/portuguese interface of MRC?
Is it just about translating the news?

For translators there's a webinterface. It shows untranslated newsposts, you click it, and you get to type a translation. It's really not a lot of trouble. Anyone who wants to apply for MRC-localizer, can click here. After that, the team will judge the application, and the rest speaks for itself.

Being one of the admins around here, I should receive any application; however, till this day I haven't seen any e-mail regarding your application.
If some settings malfunction, it may be that the incoming applications only go to our head-guru, snout. If even he hasn't received your application, you could consider contacting him personally. However, he better could reply in this thread as well instead. At your service
