La Mulana coming to WiiWare

La Mulana, a platform game heavily inspired by Konami's MSX classics King's Valley and King's Valley 2, was released for Windows years ago. Now the game is coming to WiiWare! You can watch a video of La Mulana for Wii on YouTube. Time ago a discussion arose on our active forums about the possibility of porting La Mulana to MSX.

Anyway. Too bad they have to rid most of the MSX related stuff as in America they hardly understand MSX Very curious on how that will work out.......

I hope the game has some "legacy" mode.
I've seen some of the pictures in the author's blog and it seems to me that the cartridge system has been replaced by a sort of PC-related stuff. Besides, I somehow understand the changes... the authors could'nt probably sell a game that uses Konami cartridge names and even reproduces (if I remember correctly) parts of some Konami games (is it possible to play Nemesis in La Mulana, isn't it?).

@DS: Thats is the reamke of MOG with mulana gfx.

mrSpock is refering to the secret cartridges which contain o.a. Nemesis/Pariodus and Snatcher like gameplay/refference. Not to speak of the Maze of galious level (world1) inside mulana where the endboss has put on some clothes.
