After moving from MSX to Nintendo (well, sort of) to Sony Playstation to PC, Konami now confirmed that a Metal Gear game for Nintendo Gamecube is in the making. It will be a remake of the first edition of Metal Gear Solid, improving gameplay and animations. It will be subtitled 'The Twin Snakes'.

Koniami has opened a website for this game which can be found here. It contains the very impressive E3 trailer in both English and Japanese.

You can pre-order Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes here

It will be a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid. A top-man of Nintendo is also working on it (I think it was Shigeru Miyamoto), so I would not be surprised if there would be some extra elements.

and according to some infosites the game will work together with a Gameboy Advance using a link-cable. So maybe we'll also get a GBA version of Metal Gear (Solid) soon! Smile
