Thanks to the uprising of the mobile gaming industry, Taito is enjoying a revival thanks to the popularity of its old games. Accoording to Taito in the Financial times, the Japanese mobile gaming market is astimated $180 million. As reported before, Taito already signed contracts with Vodafone and 30 other mobile operators in Asia and Europe and is now looking to sign deals with North American telecom operators before the end of this year. Taito strongly believes that the old classic games will attract mobile phone users who played those games in the past. Sega is also re-releasing old games again for mobile phones. Apart from the fact that many users like to play the classics again, it´s also easy to port those games to mobile phones because of the low amount of memory those games need and most games can be played with only a few buttons.
