Topic: Music

bgMSX is a site dedicated to MSX music and currently contains more than 2,250 songs from 124 games and 54 composers. Recently, the soundtracks of Fuzzy Logic's demos Muzax, Muzax 2, Muzax 3 and Imagine's game WEC Le Mans have been added to their ever growing database. Hans Cnossen and wolf_ are the composers of Muzax's music and Jonathan Dunn is the composer of WEC Le Mans' music.

There is a section on the website to evaluate your knowledge of MSX music. The system determines which MSX songs are the most popular amongst users based on the number of hits. Moreover, the level of difficulty is adjustable and is based on the previous results obtained. Your score will be saved so other people can take a look at it.

Thanks! I fixed the link. Does anyone know his real blog/web?
That's true that bgMSX is available only in Spanish at the moment; however, any collaboration would be appreciated!Tongue

IMHO the music from Wec Le Mans plays way too fast, I remember it playing at a slower pace

EDIT: I have made a half-minute recording of Wec Le Mans, with OpenMSX 0.7.0 emulating a Philips VG-8020 machine; as I was remembering, Wec Le Mans plays slower. You can hear a sample MP3 here:

@cesco: maybe it is a recording of the kss in combination with msxplug. The 50Hz option does not work with msxplug.

M2 was RE-released (for HD) after M3 was released.
Original M2 was released in 1994
